Peach is Bobby’s first mate, and I brought her home alongside him when I got Bobby. Peach is a Lily White, much like Snowball, with tertiary traits that are almost pure white. In particular, her high white on the tail and dorsal areas are completely filled with white. While breeding Tri-Extreme Harlequins with each other is usually the best way to produce higher-quality Tri-Ex (like I hoped), at the time, there wasn’t another Tri-Ex available besides Orange.

So, the next best option was to breed with Lily White traits. I was hoping that the tertiary traits would become even whiter. Bobby was smaller than Orange, which caused some breeding failures, so breeding him with Peach, a relatively smaller gecko, seemed like a good choice. When I first brought Peach home, she was very sensitive, and it took a long time for her to start eating properly. Since she was a young juvenile, I expected her to be delicate, but after about three months, she became much calmer and started eating very well. As seen in the picture above, she’s now a plump gecko.

As mentioned earlier, Peach’s secondary and tertiary traits are very well developed. One of the similarities she shares with Bobby is her crown, which still has defined pins, but beyond that, the pins start to fade, and the tiger pattern becomes a bit more noticeable. I haven’t checked her parents, but she likely has high-quality Tri-Ex traits in her lineage.

Peach’s front view is particularly beautiful. She’s about to turn five years old (as of February 25th when I’m writing this), and while her colors have faded a bit, the pure white feel still looks neat and bright. From Bobby and Peach’s first season, there are eight babies on the way. Will they inherit their parents’ best traits? The next update will tell you more!
