This is the fifth hatchling of the clutch, and like its siblings, it displays strong Tri Extreme Harlequin (TriEx) traits. While its patterning isn’t as intense as that of the fourth hatchling, its tangerine coloration remains a defining feature.

Compared to its clutchmates, this gecko showcases a significantly higher expression of the third trait along the dorsal. Even in its early hatchling photos, the white third trait is clearly distinguishable, setting it apart from the rest.

The third trait on the lateral area is also quite prominent, though not particularly thick. As I’ve mentioned multiple times when introducing the Orange family, when the third trait is less developed, it tends to blend seamlessly with the second trait’s color. This little one appears to follow that pattern, though it’s still early, and time will tell how it continues to evolve. That said, its lateral walls are already rising quite high, hinting at strong structural development.

What makes this gecko particularly eye-catching is not just its vibrant tangerine hues but also the way its first trait—black—forms a thin boundary just below the dorsal. This subtle contrast enhances the overall dimensionality, making the colors appear richer and more defined. Additionally, the crown features a generous amount of white pinning, further distinguishing it from its siblings. With its unique blend of traits and striking contrast, this gecko certainly stands out in the clutch, and I’m excited to see how it continues to grow.
